Prior to forming JGE, as CEO of Smallworld Television, Jon Goodman is credited with the groundbreaking development and production of Access Hollywood China, the first Western program format adapted and accepted for broadcast in the People's Republic of China. Jon and his team created and launched a line-up of daily and weekly half-hour shows of first-run television, shot in Mandarin, and airing in 105 cities across China to a broadcast universe of over 200 million viewers.
The programs included: "My Music," "My Night," "My Toys," "My Cupid," "My Fashion" and "My Celebrities," each covering an aspect of China's evolving popular culture, as well as "Ma Gua Watching Films," a film review show featuring clips and critiques.
